CHELSEA — A Japanese restaurant helmed by a former “Top Chef” contestant is serving up “rainbows of dumplings” to celebrate Pride Month.

Megu, at 355 W. 16th St., between Eighth and Ninth avenues, is offering the colorful dumplings for $18 through the month of June, the restaurant inside the Dream Downtown Hotel said in a release.

Chef Frances Tariga, who appeared on the 13th season of “Top Chef,” created the vegan dumplings.

“Wrapped in dough flavored (and colored), with spring vegetable purees, these dumplings are filled with a blend of roasted cauliflower, sweet corn, shiitake and fresh ginger,” the release said.

Aspiring chefs can also learn how to make their own rainbow dumplings at a $135 dumpling-making class on Tuesday, June 20, the release added.

Part of the proceeds from the classes will go to The Center: The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, the release noted.
