Man Shot in the Hand Inside West Brighton Apartment Building, Police Say

WEST BRIGHTON — A man was shot in the hand inside the stairwell of a Henderson Avenue apartment building last week, police said.

The 23-year-old victim got into a fight with three men inside 780 Henderson Ave. on May 28 at about 8:08 p.m., according to the NYPD.

One of the men took out a gun and shot the victim in his left hand, then the group fled through the lobby, police said.

The victim was treated and released from Richmond University Medical Center.

Police said one of the suspects had a mustache and was last seen wearing blue jeans, red sneakers and a hooded sweatshirts.

The other two men were last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts.
