MIDTOWN — Top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway took a swing at Mayor Bill de Blasio Monday, joining critics who have blasted him in recent days over his gas-guzzling trips to the gym.

Conway's swipe, which had been retweeted more than 500 times as of Monday afternoon, included a link to a NY1 reporter's video of de Blasio leaving the Prospect Park YMCA on Monday morning.
The mayor has been blasted as a hypocrite in recent days for criticizing Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord while still routinely taking an SUV from Gracie Mansion on the Upper East Side to his gym in Park Slope.
“Whether I go to the gym does not affect millions of people,” he told WNYC’s Brian Lehrer on Friday.
“I’m proud to say we have a hybrid and it’s a good car. It’s very fuel-efficient. I use the subway when it makes sense to use the subway, and I do stay in touch with what people are going through.”
De Blasio press secretary Eric Phillips took off the gloves in response to Conway, tweeting an emoji of a weightlifter sandwiched between two Russian flags.
