THE BRONX — Two young men mugged three teens as young as 15 at gunpoint in Claremont Village, police said.
The duo, who can be seen in police footage released Thursday, first tried to mug the 15-year-old boy at the East 174th Street Bridge near the Sheridan Expressway on May 24 at about 9:30 p.m., but the boy said he didn't have anything to give them so they moved on, NYPD officials said.
They then mugged two girls, ages 16 and 17, stealing their cellphones before fleeing west on 174th Street, police said.
The muggers are in the 18- to 21-year-old range, about 5-feet, 9-inches tall and between 120 and 160 pounds, police said.
One wore a red sweater with white sweatpants, while the other wore a gray sweater, police said.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
