THE BRONX — An off-duty police officer was arrested on Memorial Day after crashing his car into a barrier while driving drunk, according to the NYPD.

Vladimir Delgado, 36, was driving his Jeep in Claremont Village just before 9 a.m. on Monday, when he slammed into a barrier in front of 1255 Webster Ave. near East 169th Street, police said.

When cops arrived on the scene, they found that he was driving drunk, authorities said.

Police did not have any information whether he took a breathalyzer test or what the results were. They declined to say which precinct he works out of or which neighborhood he resides in.

There were no injuries in the crash.

Delgado was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
