LONG ISLAND CITY — A man punched a fellow subway rider in the face after getting into an argument with him aboard an M train in Queens, according to the NYPD.

Police said the attacker bumped into the 25-year-old while riding the train around 8 a.m. Thursday near the Queens Plaza station, police said.

The two then got into an argument, and when the victim exited the train at the station, the suspect came up to him from behind and punched him in the face, cutting his noise and injuring his jaw, the NYPD said.

The suspect then fled the station in an unknown direction, police added.

The suspect is described as being in his 20s, bald, heavy set and was last seen wearing a ripped black T-shirt, dark jeans and black sneakers, according to the NYPD.
