BROOKLYN — A man groped five women in the same Sheepshead Bay subway station in separate attacks stretching back to December, NYPD officials said.

The suspect, who can be seen grinning in police footage released Wednesday, groped his victims, all between the ages of 27 and 36, in the Avenue U station, police said.

He first groped a woman about 4 a.m. on Dec. 4, but didn't strike again until Jan. 14, when he attacked another woman there about 4:20 p.m., police said.

He then grabbed a woman as she walked up the stairs about 9:35 p.m. on Feb. 1 and shoved a woman against a wall before groping her about 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, police said.

In his latest attack on Monday, he grabbed a woman walking up the station stairs about 7 p.m., police said.

The suspect was described as about 25 years old and standing 6 feet, police said. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, a dark shirt, gray-and-black sweatpants and was carrying a duffel bag with red straps, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
