QUEENS — A skateboarder suffered serious head injuries when a vehicle hit him in Jamaica on Wednesday night, police said.
The 23-year-old man was skating south on 160th Street when the eastbound driver on South Road hit him in the intersection about 8:47 p.m., NYPD officials said.
The skater suffered serious injuries to his head and was treated at Jamaica Hospital, police said.
The driver, 36, stayed at the scene and wasn't immediately arrested, police said.
