MANHATTAN — Investigators released photos Wednesday of a man who they said stole a 15-year-old girl's phone and shoved her to the ground in Central Park.
The man, who's in his 30s, asked the girl for a dollar and then attacked her when she said she didn't have one about 6:45 p.m. on May 2 near West 106th Street and West Drive, NYPD officials said.
The mugger, who's about 5 feet 9 inches and 140 pounds, fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.
The girl refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
