UPPER WEST SIDE — Police need to collar this criminal. 

A burglar stole a mug, a dry-erase set and dog food after breaking into a building on Central Park West, police said.

The suspect got into 472 Central Park West using a credit card to open a door before ramming through a second door in the building's mailroom, the NYPD said.

The items the burglar swiped, worth a total of $101, included dog food, writing utensils, a dry-erase board, wall decal stickers and a mug.

Other notable crimes in the 24th Precinct include:

► A 62-year-old woman who lives with her son at 19 Duke Ellington Parkway reported losing a $14,000 gold bracelet with diamonds and a black French angora rabbit fur poncho worth $1,700 total on April 25, police said. The woman said she last saw the items in October and believes her brother took them without her permission while he was helping her clean the apartment.

► A man stole $1,486 worth of allergy medication and Crest white strips from the Duane Reade at 775 Columbus Ave. on April 28 around 8:30 p.m., police said. The store's manager could not be reached for comment.

► A 33-year-old Chinese tourist returned from a day of sightseeing to the HI New York City Hostel at 891 Amsterdam Ave. on April 29 to find that all the belongings he left on a bed in his shared room were missing, police said. Among his possessions were a Michael Kors hand bag and vitamins. The hostel did not return a request for comment.
