Shotgun-Toting Gunman in Rolling Stones Shirt Shoots Man in Leg, NYPD Says

MANHATTAN VALLEY — A shotgun-toting man clad in a Rolling Stones T-shirt shot another man in the leg outside a public housing building on Amsterdam Avenue, police said.

The gunman approached the 31-year-old victim outside 875 Amsterdam Ave. at around 12:01 a.m. Saturday and fire several shots, striking him in the leg, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then fled east on West 104th Street, police said.

The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in serious but stable condition, according to officials.

The shooter was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt with the Rolling Stones logo, black jeans and red sneakers, police said.
