CENTRAL HARLEM — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a driver in Central Harlem Monday afternoon, according to police.

The vehicle hit the person at West 115th Street near Fifth Avenue at about 4:54 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in serious condition.

It was not immediately clear if the driver remained at the scene.
