THE BRONX — A gunman shooting wildly down a Unionport street Monday struck a pedestrian in the neck, NYPD officials said.
The 24-year-old victim was near Ellis and Puglsey avenues when the gunman, who can be seen in police video released Wednesday, shot him about 10:30 p.m., police said.
The victim listed in critical condition at an area hospital, police said.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the shooting.
The suspect, who wore red sweatpants and a dark hoodie, fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.
