MANHATTAN — A pedestrian was seriously injured after a hammock fell off a building and struck her in lower Manhattan Tuesday evening, according to FDNY officials and reports.

The hammock stand fell five stories from 110 Church St. near Park Place and hit the woman, an FDNY spokesman and a WABC report said.

She was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious but stable condition, officials said.

There was no immediate information on how the hammock fell off the building.
