THE BRONX — A woman suffered severe head injuries when a motorcycle driver struck her on a Bruckner Expressway service road Sunday night, NYPD officials said.
The victim, who wasn't immediately identified but may be in her 60s, was trying to cross the road near Hunts Point Avenue when a red Suzuki motorcycle hit her and drove off about 9:30 p.m., police said.
The woman injured her head and was listed in critical condition at Lincoln Medical Center, police said.
The motorcyclist hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.
