CHELSEA — A thief or thieves stole side mirrors from five NYPD vehicles parked across from the Javits Center, police said.

Ten mirrors were stolen from the marked vehicles across from the convention center at 655 W. 34th St. past 11th Avenue, between 5:30 p.m. on April 15 and 5 a.m. on April 16, the NYPD said.

Officers searched the area after they learned about the theft but turned up short, police said.

The NYPD didn’t say how much the mirrors would cost to replace, and no one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Wednesday.

Other recent crimes in the 10th Precinct include:

When an officer stopped her, she said she had been driving home from a methadone clinic, where she’d been given the drug. She had also taken a Xanax. “I probably shouldn’t have taken Xanax with the methadone," the woman told police. When officers searched her, they discovered two plastic straws with what appeared to be crack cocaine inside.

The attacker was arrested, and the victim refused medical attention. A store manager couldn’t be reached for comment Wednesday.

One of the people arrested had an unspecified amount of K2, or synthetic marijuana. “It’s just K2,” the person told police at some point during the arrest.

► A man stole a $50 “Mustang” emblem off the rear off a display vehicle parked inside the Javits Center for the New York International Auto Show around 5:15 p.m. on April 14, the NYPD said. No one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Wednesday. A spokesman for the convention center didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

► A 20-year-old man was arrested after punching a 28-year-old man during an argument inside the Highline Ballroom at 431 W. 16th St., between Ninth and 10th avenues, around 2:45 a.m. on April 16, police said. The victim was left with redness and pain to his left eye. The venue didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

► A 39-year-old man was arrested after he was found trespassing inside a Clinton Housing Development Company building at 500 W. 42nd St., near 10th Avenue, around 7:54 a.m. on April 15, the NYPD said. When police searched the man, they found what appeared to be a crack pipe with residue on it.

► A 47-year-old man was riding his bicycle westbound on West 29th Street, near 10th Avenue, around 5 p.m. on April 13 when a driver in a gray Toyota merged into the bike lane and collided with him, police said. The driver was “very aggressive and irate” with the bicyclist, who fell off his bike and sustained a minor hip injury. No one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Wednesday. The cyclist refused medical attention at the scene.
