QUEENS — A vandal was caught on surveillance video spray-painting the letter "X" on the door of an Islamic center in Richmond Hill in an incident being investigated as a hate crime, police said.
The suspect can be seen in the video walking up to the Bosnian Islamic Cultural Center at 114-07 91st Ave. in Richmond Hill just after midnight on April 6 and scrawling on the building, the NYPD said.
The person painted the letter "X" on multiple doors, police noted.
The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident, the NYPD added.
