BROOKLYN — More than 100 firefighters battled a blaze on the roof of a Sea Gate synagogue Thursday morning, officials said.
The flames broke out on the roof of the house of worship at 3801 Nautilus Ave., near Sea Gate Avenue, about 12:14 a.m., an FDNY official said.

One person suffered minor injuries, but wasn't taken to a hospital, the official said.
About 106 firefighters helped bring the fire under control by 2:35 a.m., officials said.
Fire marshals were still trying to determine what sparked the blaze, officials said.
