LOWER EAST SIDE — A man was discovered dead near the corner of Forsyth and Broome streets Thursday morning, police said.
Police responded to a call around 10:48 a.m. and arrived to find a man of unknown age unconscious and unresponsive. Emergency medical responders declared him dead at the scene, police said.
The man has not been identified and the medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death, police said.
