Construction Worker Dies After Falling in Midtown Building

MIDTOWN — A construction worker died after falling at a Midtown building, according to officials.

The man was cutting something on the second floor of 1604 Broadway when he fell to the first floor at about 11:07 a.m., FDNY and NYPD officials said.

He was taken to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Department of Buildings inspectors also responded to the scene, according to the agency's website, but there was no further information available.
