QUEENS — A man was seriously hurt after jumping onto the tracks at 169th Street in Jamaica Hills at 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to MTA and FDNY officials.

The FDNY requested power be shut off at the station while they removed the victim to Jamaica Hospital, a fire department spokesman said.

Manhattan-bound F service was running express from 179th Street to Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike, according to the MTA’s website.

Riders were advised to allow for additional travel time.
