STATEN ISLAND — A man was shot in the leg in St. George Sunday afternoon, police said.
The 23-year-old victim, whose name wasn't immediately released, was shot outside 287 Jersey St. near Pauw Street, at 4:39 p.m. Sunday, an NYPD spokesman said.
The victim was treated at Richmond University Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the shooting.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
