Man Survives Getting Shot 5 Times on Bed-Stuy Street, NYPD Says [VIDEO]

BROOKLYN —  A man survived getting shot five times while walking down a Bedford-Stuyvesant street, the NYPD said.

The unidentified 32-year-old victim was walking near Hancock Street and Broadway about 10:30 p.m. April 3 when the suspect, who can be seen in police video released Sunday, opened fire from down the street, police said.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his legs and buttocks, police said. He was treated at Kings County Hospital for injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect, who's in his late teens or early 20s, fled the scene and wasn't arrested as of Monday morning, police said.
