BROOKLYN — Police are looking for man they said sucker-punched a 15-year-old boy on Grand Street in broad daylight Monday and then stole his iPhone 7.
The attacker approached the teen at Grand Street near Manhattan Avenue at about 3:56 p.m. on April 3 and demanded money before socking him in the face, according to the NYPD. The 15-year-old then dropped his phone, which the suspect picked up and then ran north on Manhattan Avenue.
The teen refused medical attention at the scene.
The mugger is about 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds, police said.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray pants and black sneakers.
