QUEENS — A new boutique focusing on women’s accessories will soon open in Forest Hills, the owners said.

Snowy Rosy, at 70-40 Austin St., “will specialize in handmade fabric bags, high-end scarves and custom made jewelry,” said Snow Chuey, who will run the store with her mother Rose and husband Steven.

The owners have lived in Forest Hills since 2014 and said they decided to open the store, named after Snow and Rose, because "there was a void in our neighborhood in offerings related to practical yet beautiful fabric bags and accessories," Steven Chuey said in an email.

"Our collections include a wide assortment of designs, styles, and functions that meet our customers’ everyday needs: cute bags for casual outings, matching bags to store cosmetics or coins, roomy secondary carry-on bags and travel bags, diaper bags that roll out into a baby changing cushion, and much more," Chuey added.

The store will also carry handmade and machine-stitched silk scarves, rings, bracelets and charms, the owners said.

The boutique is expected to open in mid April in a new 1,200-square-foot space, which was created after merging two adjacent storefronts.

One used to house a Haagen Dazs parlor that closed last year, and the other was supposed to become home to Via Veneto Fashions, but the business moved to another space several doors down instead, reopening as Sacca's Suits earlier this year.

Most of the items at Snowy Rosy will be imported from Thailand and China and priced under $100, the owners said.

"We believe any customer, ranging from girls to grandmas, [will be able to] find something delightful," Chuey said.
