UPPER WEST SIDE — A third Sweetgreen location will open its doors in the neighborhood this summer, a source familiar with the deal confirmed to DNAinfo New York.
The fast-casual restaurant serving salads and grain bowls made from seasonal ingredients will be coming to 2460 Broadway, sources said.
Sweetgreen has signed a 10-year lease for 2,430 square feet of space on the first floor of the co-op building between West 91st and 92nd streets, and 1,500 square feet of the basement, the Commercial Observer first reported.
According to the Observer, the asking rent for the ground floor was $250 per square foot.
There are currently two Sweetgreen locations on the Upper West Side, one at 311 Amsterdam Ave., off of West 75th Street, and another at 2937 Broadway, between West 114th and West 115th streets.
Sweetgreen would not provide a specific opening date for the 2460 Broadway location.
