QUEENS — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by an MTA bus in Ridgewood early Friday, police said.

The Q54 was turning off of Eliot Avenue onto Fresh Pond Road when the front of the bus clipped a 52-year-old woman who was in the crosswalk around 4:55 a.m., the MTA and NYPD said.

She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with serious leg injuries that were not considered life threatening, police said.

The driver remained on the scene. He had not been charged as of Friday afternoon.
