MIDTOWN — Service on the 7 train was restored late Wednesday morning after mechanical problems at the Grand Central-42nd St station caused it to be suspended earlier, according to the MTA.
The malfunction hit the train line before 10 a.m. and stalled service between the 34th Street-Hudson Yards station and Queensboro Plaza.
Trains were back up and running as normal before noon, the MTA said.
Some riders expressed their dismay on Twitter.
