HARLEM — Loosen your belts.
For the third year in a row, Harlem EatUp!, a four-day festival that combines Harlem’s unique food, culture and music in one place, returns this May.
The festival, co-founded by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, will run from May 18 to May 21 and will include a tasting in Morningside Park on May 20 and May 21 from a slew of local restaurants, including Melba’s, Harlem Shake and Red Rooster.
Samuelsson said the festival is “inspired by the vibrancy of the Harlem community and all that it encompasses: music, art, people and, of course, food.”
There will also be a “Dine-In Harlem Series,” on May 19, where local eateries will host celebrity chefs to create multi-course menus.
Tickets range from $85 to $250.
The proceeds from the event will go to two nonprofits that serve the neighborhood, City Meals on Wheels and Harlem Park to Park.
