VIDEO: Jewel Thieves Snatch $4.4K in Diamond Pins from Gem Shop, Police Say

WILLIAMSBURG — A pair of thieves working in tandem snatched four diamond pins worth $4,400 from a Williamsburg jewelry and bridal store, police said.

The couple walked up to a display case inside Chasuna Plaza at 322 Rutledge St. at 12:26 p.m. on March 2, the NYPD said.

With the man acting as a lookout, the woman snatched the four pricey pins from the display case before both turned and walked away, according to police and the video.

The woman, who was described as 60 years old, was wearing a black jacket, black pants, a black hat and carrying a black pocketbook, police said.

The man, also described as 60 years old, had white hair and was wearing a yarmulke, black jacket, blue pants and black shoes, according to police and the video.

A manager at Chasuna Plaza couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
