STATEN ISLAND — An NYPD school safety agent was arrested Sunday for shoplifting string cheese, sausage, socks, razors and other things from a Staten Island Costco, police said.

Susan Boimal, 56, was shopping in the wholesaler at 2975 Richmond Ave., at Forest Hills Road, when she started to slip some things into her pocketbook, NYPD officials said.

She paid for some of her groceries, but not the things she put into her pocketbook, police said.

A security guard who'd been watching footage of Boimal then confronted her and found her pocketbook stuffed with Polly-O string cheese, Venus razor blades, garlic, socks, kishka sausage and swimming gear, police said.

The haul was worth about $198, police said.

Boimal was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

She was still awaiting arraignment Monday morning, police said.
