QUEENS — A 50-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her South Jamaica home Thursday, authorities said.
Maria Palaguachi was found by her daughter shortly after 11 a.m., inside their home on 174th Street near 137th Avenue, sources and police said.
The victim had multiple stab wounds to her head, torso and arms and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The motive remains unclear and no arrests have been made as of Thursday, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
