MANHATTAN — It's almost time to spring forward again.
Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 12 this year.
Setting the clocks forward an hour means most of us will miss out on some shut eye. The trade off is many of us will also see more light at the end of the work day.
Sunset has been happening around 6 p.m., but will jump an hour later due to Daylight Saving Time, according to the Astrological Applications Department of the U.S. Naval Observatory.
Just don't forget that your mornings won't get light until just after 7 a.m.
