Elderly Man Gropes Woman in Whitehall Street Subway Station, Police Say

FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A man about 75 years old  groped a woman while she waited in line to buy a MetroCard, police said.

The man allegedly grabbed the victim's buttocks as he stood behind her in the Whitehall Street subway station at about 10 a.m. on Feb. 17, police said.

Before the alleged groper fled, the woman, 38, turned around and took a photo of him on her cellphone.

The man, last seen wearing a black hat and black jacket, is estimated to be about 75 years old, according to police.
