QUEENS — A man wearing a distinctive red coat robbed a Forest Hills bank Wednesday morning, police said.

The suspect walked into the Chase bank located at 100-26 Queens Blvd., between 67th Road and 67th Avenue, shortly after 11 a.m., authorities said.

He approached a 35-year-old teller, passed a note demanding money and was handed an unknown amount of cash without displaying a weapon, police said.

The suspect then fled the location, officials said.

There were no injuries, the NYPD said.

Police described the suspect as about 35 years old, standing approximately 5-foot-9 and weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black wool hat and a short-sleeved wool red coat.
