Pedestrian Hurt After Being Struck by Vehicle in Harlem, FDNY Says

MANHATTAN — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Harlem Wednesday evening, according to fire officials.

The vehicle hit the person at Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 142nd Street at about 5:19 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said. The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in serious condition.

There was no immediate information on whether the driver remained at the scene. 

No further information was available about the victim.
