WOODSIDE — Police are looking for two men who installed skimming devices on the ATMs at a bank in Queens on Saturday.

The suspects placed the card-reading devices on cash machines at the HSBC Bank at 51-20 Northern Blvd. near Woodside Avenue around 1 p.m., officials said. It's not clear how many ATMs were affected.

The men who installed them were captured on surveillance footage wearing winter coats and hats, according to images released by the NYPD.

Skimming devices are used to record people's debit card information and PIN numbers, and local police have said they have become a "major, major issue" at precincts across the city.

Officials recommend people examine ATMs before using them, including pulling on the machine's card reader to check for any attachments.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
