MIDTOWN — Police are searching for a pair of suspects who placed a card-reading device on an ATM in Midtown, the NYPD said.

A man and a woman installed the skimming device on the machine at a Chase Bank at 1411 Broadway, between West 39th and 40th streets, around 6:37 p.m. on Jan. 6, police said.

There were no incidents of fraud reported in connection with the installation, and the bank took measures to prevent fraud after discovering the device, the NYPD said.

It wasn't clear why police released the information so long after the incident.
