MANHATTAN — A worker was seriously burned during a flash fire in a Park Avenue high-rise Wednesday morning, officials said.

The worker, whose identity was not immediately released, was on the 37th floor of 277 Park Ave., near East 48th Street, about 8:51 a.m. when the fast-moving blaze broke out, according to FDNY and Department of Buildings officials.

The worker suffered serious burns to the hand and was treated at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell's burn center, an FDNY spokesman said.

The circumstances surrounding the fire weren't immediately clear.
