Husband Stabs Wife in Back Before Fleeing South Bronx Home, Police Say

MORRISANIA —A Bronx man stabbed his wife several times in the back during an attack in their Bronx home, police said.

Juan Estrella, 40, assaulted his wife in the Westchester Avenue home around 12:05 p.m. Saturday, before fleeing, according to the NYPD.

The woman, 37, was taken to Lincoln Hospital. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Officers said Estrella has black hair, is 5-foot-11-inches and 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, green sneakers and blue jeans.
