MARINERS HARBOR — A man swiped more than $2,000 worth of cosmetics from a CVS store, prosecutors said.

Gregory Fonseca, 55, of West Brighton, went into the CVS at 2045 Forest Ave. on Jan. 18, took cosmetics off the shelves and put them into his jacket before walking out, according to his criminal complaint.

He was arrested on Wednesday and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny at his arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

His bail was set at $2,500 and he's due back in court on Feb. 22, according to online court records.

His lawyer could not be reached for comment.

Fonseca was previously arrested in 2007 after he stole perfume from a West Brighton Duane Reade and got into a brawl with a security guard in the store, the New York Post reported.
