By Aidan Gardiner | February 10, 2017 12:22pm

THE BRONX — A man was seriously hurt when a fire tore through the second floor of a Belmont house Friday morning, an FDNY official said.

The man, whose identity wasn't immediately released, was injured in the blaze that erupted inside 537 E. 187th St., near Bathgate Avenue, about 9:33 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

He was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital, the spokesman said.

Another person refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.

About 106 firefighters brought the blaze under control about 9:44 a.m.

Fire marshals will determine what sparked the blaze, officials said.
