EAST HARLEM — Applications for one-bedroom apartments that will rent in East Harlem for $985 will open Wednesday.
The lottery will put up five units in a newly constructed eight-story building at 2138 Third Avenue.
They are eligible to singles earning between $33,772 and $38,100, or two-person households earning between $33,772 and $43,500.

There are 21 units in the building, which also includes an elevator and a laundry room.
Applications are due March 2.

Preference for half of the units will go to current residents of Manhattan's Community Board 11.
Those interested can apply online at nyc.gov/housingconnect or by mail by sending a self-addressed envelope to Raveh Realty LLC, 55 Northern Blvd. Suite 210, Great Neck, NY 11021.
