SOUTH BEACH — A group dined-and-dashed on a $645 bill at a Staten Island Russian restaurant's New Year's party, police said.

The group of four, one man and three woman, went to eat at Chinar on the Island, at 283 Sand Lane, on Jan. 1 at 3:34 a.m., the NYPD said.

They racked up a $645 bill at the spot but then left the restaurant without paying and were spotted driving away towards Father Capodanno Boulevard in a silver S.U.V., police said.

The group were caught on surveillance camera checking their coats as they entered the restaurant. It's unknown if they stopped to collect their coats before they left.

The restaurant owners could not be reached immediately for comment.
