Police would not be more specific about where the store was located. It was also unclear why the NYPD didn't release the information for more than two months.

Surveillance images show the suspect behind the counter on which the machines are located, as well as him walking outside next to an NYPD cruiser.

Authorities described the suspect as 30 to 35 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
