BRONX — A gunman shot two people following a fight at a nightclub in Mount Hope over the weekend, police said.

The suspect opened fire inside Blu Lounge at 1789 Webster Ave., near East 175th Street, about 3 a.m. Saturday and struck a 21-year-old man in the torso, the NYPD said. Moments later, he fired another shot outside the club that struck a woman in the leg, police said, without providing her age.

The male victim was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital and the woman was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, though police did not provide her condition.

The NYPD did not say what sparked the fight. The nightclub did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The NYPD released a surveillance image of the gunman, who was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt with the word "VINTAGE" written on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
