FINANCIAL DISTRICT — The team behind award-winning restaurants Eleven Madison Park and the NoMad is on its way to the World Trade Center.

Michelin-starred chef Daniel Humm and his business partner Will Guidara are working on a new, 7,000-square-foot eatery at 3 World Trade Center, the Westfield World Trade Center mall announced Wednesday night.

The restaurant will join other gourmet options at the WTC complex, including the expansive Eataly at 3 World Trade Center, Marc Forgione’s Lobster Press, Daniel Boulud's Épicerie Boulud. An upscale English steakhouse, Hawksmoor, is also on its way to 3 World Trade Center.

The restaurant is still in the early planning stages, and didn't reveal any details other then its square footage and its description as "casual."

The team expects to open the restaurant, which is still unnamed, sometime next year.

"We could not be more thrilled to team up with Westfield in this historic and remarkable location," said Humm in a statement. "Bringing our food and hospitality into the Oculus at World Trade Center—an incredibly important and iconic addition to our city—is extremely humbling, we're so excited to be a part of it!"
