BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Mayor Bill de Blasio and central Brooklyn’s elected officials will host a town hall meeting in Bedford-Stuyvesant in March to discuss local issues.

The March 9 gathering will be de Blasio’s first town hall in the neighborhood, according to the mayor’s office, and is co-sponsored by Brooklyn’s Community Board 3 and nonprofits Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation and Bridge Street Development Corporation.

Councilman Robert Cornegy Jr. is set to moderate the meeting, during which de Blasio will take questions from the audience.

“The Mayor’s visit is a positive step towards moving forward the agenda of residents and business owners in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Crown Heights. I look forward to an engaging and productive evening,” Cornegy said in a statement.

Representatives of city agencies will also be in attendance, according to mayoral spokeswoman Jessica Ramos.

The March 9 town hall will be held at P.S. 23 Carter G. Woodson elementary school, 545 Willoughby Ave. at 7 p.m.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and space is limited. Attendees can RSVP at TownHallRSVP@cityhall.nyc.gov, or by calling 212-788-1369.

Editor's note: A previous version of this story stated that the town hall would be held on Feb. 8. The Mayor's Office rescheduled the meeting to Thursday, March 9 due to a "scheduling conflict," according to mayoral spokeswoman Jessica Ramos.
