By Aidan Gardiner | January 20, 2017 11:03am

BROOKLYN — A man who was hit in the groin by a stray bullet walked to a nearby firehouse for help Friday morning, NYPD officials said.

The 30-year-old man had just stepped out of 760 Park Ave. in the Tompkins Houses about 2:30 a.m. when he heard gunshots and suddenly felt pain, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

He realized he'd been shot and walked to a nearby firehouse, police said.

He was then taken to Kings County Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

There were no immediate arrests and the circumstances of the shooting weren't immediately clear, police said.
