BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A pair of burglars broke into businesses and homes along Bedford Avenue, making off with cash, a safe and other items, police said.

The men first broke into Stonefruit Espresso + Kitchen, at 1058 Bedford Ave. near Clifton Place, just before 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, according to officials.

The duo made off with a safe and $800, police said.

On Jan. 9, the suspects entered a home on Bedford Avenue near Kosciuszko Street and stole cellphones around 8:30 p.m., according to police.

A day later, they broke into another residence on Kosciuszko Street near Bedford Ave. and ran off with a chipping hammer, a saw, a grinder, a tile cutter and a hammer drill, officials said.

The pair also targeted Joloff Restaurant at 1168 Bedford Ave. near Madison Street, on Jan. 12 around 3:45 a.m., taking an iPad and $100, according to police.

The owners of Stonefruit and Joloff were not immediately available for comment.
